Abstract

In general, communication is done verbally or verbally which can be understood by both parties. If there is no verbal language that can be understood by both of them, communication can still be done using body language, this way is called nonverbal communication. Village Unit Cooperatives are formed, organized, and created for the village community itself. Performance of Bale Yotro Village Unit Cooperative employees is seen from various aspects. Receipt of savings from the Bale Yotro Village Unit Cooperative customers has increased every year. Bale Yotro Village Cooperative Unit customers are the people of Belo Village whose number of customers in 3 years remains 659 customers. Meanwhile, from the attendance data, the highest level of absenteeism occurred in January, July and December. Data and facts show that employee performance has not been stable, it can be an indication of the influence of communication on employee performance. The formulation of the problem in this study is Does communication affect the performance of employees at the Bale Yotro Village Cooperative Unit? And How Much is the Influence of Communication on Employee Performance at the Bale Yotro Village Cooperative? This study used a saturated sample of 22 people. Collecting data using questionnaire data and interviews with employees. The collected data were then processed using SPSS version 19. The results of this study indicate that there are 2 communication patterns used, namely vertical and horizontal. Meanwhile, the regression results show that communication has a positive effect on employee performance.
