PENGARUH APLIKASI BEBERAPA JENIS PUPUK KANDANG TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN BAYAM (AMARANTHUS TRICOLOR. L)

Abstract

Spinach (Amaranthus tricolor L.) is a high source of iron when compared to other vegetables, due to its potensial nutrition, high production is needed to meet the needs of iron in the community. One method that can be taken in increasing the production of spinach is fertilization, especially by optimizing the function of manure. This study is aiming to determine the effect of using cow and horse manure on the growth and yield of spinach. The results showed that the use of horse manure produced higher plant height, number of leaves, and plant wet weight compared to the use of cow manure.
