UPAYA PENINGKATAN HASIL BAWANG MERAH PADA TANAH ALLUVIAL MELALUI PENAMBAHAN PUPUK KANDANG AYAM DAN COCOPEAT

Abstract

This study aims to obtain the appropriate doses of chicken dung manure and cocopeat doses which can increase the growth and production of shallots. The study was conducted in the village of Punggur Kecil, Sungai Kakap sub-district, Kubu Raya district. The study was conducted in May-July 2019 using a Factorial Randomized Block Design with 2 treatment factors, the first factor was the dose of chicken dung manure consisting of 3 levels, namely A1: 10 tons.ha^-1, A2: 15 tons.ha^{- 1}, A3: 20 tons. ha^-1. The second factor was cocopeat which consists of 3 levels, namely C1: 15 tons ha^-1, C2: 20 tons ha^-1, C3: 25 tons ha^-1. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves per clump, number of tubers, tuber fresh weight, and tuber dry weight. The results showed that 15 tons ha^-1 chicken manure treatment was able to increase the number of leaves more. While the interaction of chicken manure by 20 tons ha^-1 and  cocopeat  15 tons ha^-1 is able to produce tuber wet weight and tuber dry weight per clump better than other treatment.
