Abstract

Banana stem tricompost is an agricultural waste that has not been utilized optimally which consists of water and fiber where the fiber contains cellulose which is quite high. Microorganisms that can decompose cellulose are microorganisms that have cellulose enzymes such as Trichoderma sp. So this fungus is also known as a decomposer fungus. This study used RAK with 1 factor with 5 levels of treatment where each treatment was repeated 5 times with the following treatments: without giving Trichoderma sp. fungus, giving 50 g, 100 g, 150 g and 200 g Trichoderma sp./10 kg fungus. banana. The results showed that the T3 treatment with a dose of 150 g of Trichoderma sp. is the best treatment in ripening banana stem tricompost because it provides temperature, color and C/N in accordance with the compost criteria set out in SNI 19-7030-2004 and the addition of Trichoderma sp. can speed up the composting time.
