Sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.) is one of the important commodities in the agricultural sector and is the main raw material for sugar. Successful seedling propagation is a key factor in increasing productivity. However, the bud chip method has the limitation of low endogenous hormone content in stimulating root and shoot growth. The application of plant growth regulators (PGRs) is necessary to support optimal seedling growth. This study aims to determine the effect of a mixture of red onion and bean sprout extracts as PGRs natural on the growth of sugarcane bud chips during the germination phase. The study was conducted experimentally using a non-factorial Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications, each replication consisting of 3 samples, resulting in a total of 60 plant samples. The treatments included Z1 (10%), Z2 (20%), Z3 (30%), and Z4 (40%). Data were analyzed using ANOVA, and if significant effects were found, the DMRT test at the 5% level was conducted. The results showed that the application of PGRs mixed with red onion and bean sprout extracts at a concentration of 30% (Z3) yielded the best results in terms of sprouting speed (2 days), sprout height (128.51 cm), number of leaves (7 leaves), and root length (58.16 cm).
