Abstract

A salary issue in a company is a matter related to employee satisfaction with the rules and policies provided by the company. Salary determination for good employees is very important because it relates to the quality and morale of employees. Giving the right salary can be a tool to motivate and improve the work performance of all employees because they need rewards or salaries that match what they have done. This study used survey method with the entire employee population of CV Sinar Harapan with census technique of sampling amounted to 6 respondents. The results of this study are from various job positions in CV Sinar Harapan, Manager was paid more than the highest salary that should be accepted by the manager, and for other positions like admin, warehouse head, warehouse staff, sales and drivers paid less than the highest salary that they can get. However, the admin and the head of the warehouse receive a salary more than the average salary given in both positions, while for the warehouse staff position although the payment is less than the acceptable average, but still exceeds the minimum wage standard. Only the position of sales and drivers are paid less.
